I know we are posting a lot and we have talked about him in many podcasts already, but I’m not going to lie he was and still is one of my heroes. I like the rest of the FYFC crew are still very much in shock with the news of his death, and the sadness surrounding it. There has been much speculations as to why he committed suicide, if it was the diagnosis of onset Parkinson’s, or his TV show “The Crazy Ones” being cancelled after only one season. Apparently he took it very hard as a personal failure. Which makes my heart hurt. It was a good show, but TV is a nightmare right now. So many great shows are being cancelled, and I honestly have no idea why.
It really makes you think about how hard living with depression is. Here is a man that did so many amazing things. And the cancellation of a TV show possible sent him over the edge. He felt as a failure. A failure? This is a man that made up the majority of his lines as the genie in “Aladdin“, and put on one of the greatest performances of our lifetime in “Good Will Hunting“. I could go on and on. I’m sure I will for a month or two. Not going to lie. There are so many heartfelt pics and posts coming out, this is a man that touched many lives. And will continue to for a long, LONG time. Thanks for all the entertainment. I hope you finally found your happy place. Go watch something with Robin Williams in it right now. You know you want to.
