Four Kentucky firefighters are injured after taking part in the ALS Ice Bucket challenge. As more and more videos come out with people trying to top one another, things went terribly wrong. The firefighters had used their ladder truck to dump water on the Campbellsville University’s marching band. After it was done, the ladder truck got too close to the power lines and even though the truck didn’t touch the wires they were powerful enough to send a charge through the truck shocking the 4 firefighters inside.
Two of the firemen were in the bucket are currently in the burn unit. One is in critical condition and the other is listed as fair. Thoughts go out to these guys, hope they make a full recovery. Terrible when something like this happens when you are doing something nice like charity. Maybe just go with buckets from now on folks.
