I’m not going to lie. I haven’t played any of the games. Actually I hadn’t heard of it until my 9 year old daughter started talking about it. She watches some YouTubers play it all the time. It has on occasion made it hard for her to sleep. So I told her, show me what all this fuss is about. And she did. And I yawned. Now don’t get me wrong, I was simply watching someone else play it. But it didn’t seem overly frightening. I think I need to play the game to get the full effect. I bet when you are in the game playing the jump scare technique is very effective. But would it make a good movie? It has a lot of buzz around it thats for sure. And from what I can tell it would have a back story of murdered children and haunted animatronics… which, I have seen worse. It has the right premise to be promising. Could it be done as a found footage? Or should it be more of a straight laced film? We shall see. Have you played FNAF? What do you think of it being adapted into a movie?
